The U.K. government is introducing a new screening test to identify Down’s syndrome in utero with a view to its eradication.
Other tests identifying the following syndrome: toxic masculinity syndrome, unwokeness syndrome, reds under the bed syndrome, nagging wife syndrome, addiction to chocolate syndrome, tax dodging syndrome and conspiracy theory syndrome are also expected to be introduced.
When asked if this amounted to to eugenics, a government spokesperson gave an emphatic ‘No’. Adding, “This is simply about good genes.”
